Capturing Moments - Inspiring Growth

Today, I found myself at Lazaro and Diego in Monterrey, Mexico, having my first breakfast away from home on this journey. The city feels aliveβ€”tall buildings stretch toward the sky with mountains as their backdrop, and the morning hustle is softened by the gentle sounds around me.

I ordered an omelette filled with chicharrΓ³n, queso natural, and frijoles con queso. Each bite was rich and comforting, the perfect blend of crunchy chicharrΓ³n, creamy cheese, and savory beans. I sipped on a warm cup of leche dorada, its sweet and spicy notes adding a calming touch to the morning.

The setting made the meal even better. The soft trickle of a nearby fountain and the live piano music playing in the background created a relaxing vibe. Sharing the stage was a charming mimosa cart, adding a touch of elegance and making the whole experience feel a bit more special.

Sitting there, I soaked in the scene: the quiet hum of the city waking up, the music, the fountain, and the simple joy of a good breakfast. It was a reminder that sometimes the best moments are the unexpected onesβ€”like enjoying a meal alone in a beautiful spot, feeling grateful for the journey ahead. This breakfast was more than just food; it was a promise of new beginnings and the little joys that come with them.

Here’s to more mornings like this one, each one a step into something new.
